Governments—both, at the central level and state level—have released COVID-19 helpline numbers to cater to all medical emergencies and queries. Additionally, as the nation pushes for vaccinations while simultaneously combatting the second wave, these numbers have become all the more important. A call to these numbers can help patients and well-wishers avail information on the virus itself; information on testing; quarantine protocols; availability of medicines, beds, and oxygen cylinders; and medical aid.
