From Potato Sarladaise to Beluga Caviar– enjoy an eclectic range of indigenous French dishes at a one-of-a-kind food promotion titled “The French Evolution” at The Oberoi, Gurgaon.

Kickstarting the new year on a celebratory note– The Oberoi, Gurgaon has curated a special food promotion “The French Evolution” with the executive chef of Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur– Chef Gerald Genson at threesixyone° the hotel’s elegant all-day dining restaurant, from 18th January to 21st January. Having worked with several Michelin-star restaurants, Chef Genson has put his years of experience into curating an exclusive menu that includes authentic regional French dishes.

Both hotels are raising their game together by combining their renowned legacies. Whilst maintaining their individual brand identities, the two historic, multi-award-winning hotel brands now have the chance to closely work together, thanks to this one-of-a-kind O&MO Alliance. 

The food promotion is a part of The Oberoi Groups’ ongoing strategic alliance with Mandarin Oriental Hotels (O&MO Alliance). The global alliance encompasses practically every aspect of a hotel stay, from guest amenities and food and beverage experiences to spas and even employee training.

What is there on the menu?

From 18th to 21st January, the food promotion will let guests experience a wide plethora of exquisite dishes starting from French Onion Soup, Beluga Caviar, Winter Potato & Champagne Cream Sauce, Duck Leg Confit with Mesclun, Potato Sarladaise,  Lamb Loin in Crispy Crust with Provencal Vegetables and Thyme Jus, and desserts like La Tarte au Chocolat.

 “This special a la carte menu weaves flavours from distinct regions of France into one culinary tale.” says Abhishek Panshikhar, General Manager of The Oberoi, Gurgaon. He adds, “We are excited to showcase Chef Genson’s menu to our esteemed guests. It draws inspiration from tradition yet is driven by the evolution of new techniques and cultural influences.”

Tapping into the best of both brands, the alliance will create unique culinary and wellness experiences that benefit the esteemed customers of both the brands– including members of Fans of M.O. and Oberoi One. The alliance between the two will further help in superior recognition, curating exclusive experiences, and offers for the guests, as well as get them invitations to bespoke events. Both hotel chains are able to expand the definition of luxurious hospitality thanks to the alliance.
