Hilton India expands its menu to bring a new sustainable dining experience, Aayush, to the table. With this, the brand explores a modern spin on immunity-boosting Indian cuisines, to encourage healthier, sustainable eating habits. We tell you more about it. By Bayar Jain

This February, Hilton India launches a brand-new additional menu that serves a modern spin on immunity-boosting Indian cuisine. Called Aayush, the menu features health-focused vegetarian, traditionally Indian delicacies that are rich in nutrients, low in calories, and abundant with natural healing properties. It is available across all Hilton properties in India.

What’s on the menu?

Speaking about Aayush, Prashant Kulkarni, Director F&B, India-Hilton says, “Aayush is a contemporary celebration of our ancient Indian food combinations and flavours that perfectly blends with the shift towards plant-based alternatives, vegetarianism, and vegan diets enduring to be dominant trends in 2022. The menu includes immunity-boosting dishes like Moringa Saaru, a drumstick soup from Southern India that is full of potassium, vitamin C, and other essential nutrients.”

Some of the other dishes on the menu are tulsi aur jau ka shorba, kapalanga thoran, kathal sukka, Malabar nadaan curry, vegan quinoa kheer, and turmeric latte, among other. Superfoods, too, find a spot in Aayush. The idea is to tap into the potential of ancient Indian ingredients through an array of starters, main courses, and desserts.

The mindfully-created Aayush menu takes notes of the increasing shift towards Indian alternatives for foods and superfoods, and Ayurveda, globally. With this menu, Hilton India hopes to encourage people to adapt to healthy and clean eating, and processes that are connected to the roots of ancient India. “[The menu] is part of our continuous endeavour to support the growing appetite for sustainable dining,” adds Kulkarni.
