Putting an end to the dearth of chic wholesome cafes around Jim Corbett National Park, is The Nest Café & Farmstay that doubles as a quiet retreat with an organic farm! By Sushmita Srivastav
It’s time to bid adieu to weary that follows long, tiring safari sessions in the sprawling Jim Corbett National Park, for now you can head straight to chill at The Nest Café & Farmstay – a pretty-looking hangout space here that has just opened its door.
Conveniently located on the Dhikuli Road amidst many boutique hotels, the café promises you a great experience over good food in a setting with unique insta-worthy décor. Think vintage artworks and cool collectibles picked up from antique shops from all across northern India, posters of yesteryear superstars on the walls, and many reminiscences of bygone times including typewriters, sewing machines, lamps and more. The main area of the place comes full with all-things pretty! The village ‘chaupal’ area takes one through rural lifestyle, with tables made out of steel trunks and corners stakced with old exciting books. The lower seating area makes a cosy setup that can be the place for interesting tête-à-têtes with friends and family.
The wide menu here offers multiple cuisines including Chinese, Italian and Indian. The all-day breakfast menu offers varieties of omelets, salads, juices, and a range of different coffee and tea to pick from. If all of this wasn’t enough, there is soon to be an addition of an equally chic and comfy homestay with an organic farm in the same premises, which will start letting guests in from the second half of the year.
