DDA 2022: These Are The Best Stand-Alone Restaurants According To T+L Readers

From meeting friends over coffee, going on first dates over drinks, working virtually at cafes, or even enjoying a hearty family dinner together, restaurants have become an integral part of our lifestyles. Plus, part of the joy of travelling is sampling flavours and cuisines at restaurants local to the region. Understanding this, the third edition of Travel + Leisure India & South Asia’s readers’ choice Delicious Dining Awards thanked and awarded the best stand-alone restaurants in India for their stellar job.

Delicious Dining Awards (DDA) 2022, organised by Travel + Leisure India & South Asia, highlights, celebrates, and awards India’s best restaurants, bars, beverages, and personalities, as chosen by those who know the Indian culinary scene best—You! Over the years, the celebrations have seen the best restaurants from the culinary industry find a spot on the coveted list. This year, things were bigger, better, and fresher!

Delicious Dining Awards 2022 felicitated the best stand-alone restaurants as chosen by readers through an online voting process. The three-months-long cut-throat competition, however, was spearheaded by the diners themselves. Over the course of the voting period, readers and diners were given the opportunity to nominate and vote for their favourite stand-alone restaurants across categories. Readers could vote for stand-alone restaurants that push the envelope and provide the most innovative menu to its diners. They even applauded the stand-alone restaurants that took note of various dietary preferences — such as the Best Vegetarian Restaurant or Best Vegan Restaurant. With at-home dining seeing a surge, this year’s edition of Delicious Dining Awards also awarded the Best Takeaway. Some of the other categories were Best New Restaurant, Best Café, Best Farm-to-table, and Best Instagrammable Restaurant.

The fierce battle ended with a celebration and awards ceremony at Pullman New Delhi Aerocity on July 19. But who won and got the most votes? Check it out below!
