At first glance, this European restaurant gives you all the feels of being in a tropical island. Bright colours, floral patters and a whole lot of green, this bistro will fit well in your Instagram grids. The two storey restaurant offers a whole lot of space with plenty of natural light flowing in, making it ideal for those Sunday brunches. The turquoise blue couches are not only comfortable, but also provide a relaxing ambience, perfect for when you just want to enjoy a laid-back meal with friends, family or your date.
As the name suggests, Mesa Wine Bistro offers an extensive selection of wines on the menu. From a selection of reds, whites and the yummiest of cocktails, there is a lot on offer for you. It is no secret that there is a great deal of pressure while figuring out the right kind of food to pair with that glass of vino. Mesa Wine Bistro, however, does this with ease. They offer a wide selection of Spanish, Italian and Continental dishes on the menu that make for extraordinary pairings. A true blue wine lover would know that choosing the right wine and food pairing will only elevate one’s experience further.
What we loved:
Coronation Chicken Salad
Not like any salad you have ever tasted, this salad was the highlight of our meal. A fresh mix of roasted cherry tomatoes, perfectly grilled chicken, mango chutney for that extra zest and topped with curry mayo dressing. Need we say more?
Bubbling Paprika Garlic Prawns
Aptly named, the dish is served straight out of the stove onto your table. With the right mix of spices and cooked to perfection, this one is sure to leave a lingering taste.
Poached Pear Almond Tart
Vanilla anglaise paired with a scoop of mango sorbet. If that doesn’t tingle your taste buds, we don’t know what will!
