Actor Abhishek Bachchan is sporting a brand-new look these days for his upcoming Bollywood film Bob Biswas. He was recently spotted out and about in Kolkata, shooting for the second schedule of this movie. The crime-thriller is directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh and also stars Chitrangada Singh in the lead role.
A few photos from the shooting spot surfaced online and immediately went viral as the actor looked almost unrecognisable. In a stark contrast from his usual stylish self, the actor was seen donning a blue shirt with a sweater vest and dark pants, a wig, and a pair of large-framed glasses. Bachchan also wore a big paunch to complete his look. Meanwhile, Singh was spotted looking super elegant in a blue sari with a red blouse, walking alongside Bachchan.

Earlier this week, Bachchan took to his social media to announce that the shoot was resuming after almost nine months post the completion of the first schedule. “#BackToBeingBob Stay safe everyone. Travel safe. #maskon keep your mask on,” read the caption on the actor’s post.

Bob Biswas is a spin-off of the 2012 hit film Kahaani, which featured Vidya Balan in the lead role. The upcoming film tells the backstory of the character ‘Bob Biswas’ who played a gun-for-hire in the original. The movie is being produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s production house — Red Chillies Entertainment — and, the actor shared the same via his company’s Twitter account.
