AirAsia has collaborated with House of Masaba to export masks to the Southeast Asia market. Recently, the airline’s logistic arm — Teleport India – made the first shipment. “Doesn’t the Teleport Malaysia Team look awesome with their @HouseofMasaba masks shipped by Teleport India? We’re all excited as this is Teleport India’s first shipment for a renowned SME fashion brand! #Teleport #TeleportIndia #HouseofMasaba #vocalforlocal #MadeInIndia,” Teleport tweeted.
Teleport India is operational with over 440 flights per month out of the country, with their base in Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Visakhapatnam and Trichy.

The initiative has been taken as a part of the Government of India’s ‘Vocal for Local’ campaign aimed at supporting local products during times like these when export and import have been deeply affected amid global lockdown in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The need for the delivery of essentials and supporting SMEs is more necessary now than ever. We are happy and excited to partner with Teleport India to ship face masks designed by us to the Southeast Asia market. Following the current situation, demand for essential items is bound to rise and will continue to grow in times to come driving an industry-wide transformation,” Founder of The House of Masaba, Masaba Gupta said, as per Indian Transport and Logistics News.

TradeIndia, ShopClues, Crofarm, AgriBazaar, XPay.Life, are some of the Indian companies that have reportedly taken up the ‘Vocal for Local’ initiative. Moreover, India’s largest consumer brands such as ITC, Parle Products, Amul, Dabur, Bisleri, Godrej, Marico, Voltas, have also been pushing for the ‘Vocal for Local’ themes.
