The Backstreet Boys took to Instagram by performing via video call from their separate homes. The performance was kickstarted by Brian Littrell, wherein he began singing the first line of their hit song, I Want It That Way. Littrell was then joined by the band’s remaining members — Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, AJ McLean, and Howie Dorough — virtually from their homes. A trip down memory lane and a fun night aside, fans even got a peek into the band’s homes. While Carter sang by the pool holding on to his son Odin, Richardson’s sons, Mason and Maxwell, accompanied him on the guitar and drums. Adding to the cuteness was Littrell chilling in his pyjamas. One word — adorable!
Arranged by Fox Star’s iHeart Living Room Concert for America, the programme aims to provide support and relief for Americans affected by the novel coronavirus. The one-hour special musical event even paid tribute to the frontliners, and all medical professionals fighting to stop the rapid spread of the virus. The show also included performances by Billie Eilish, Alicia Keys, and more as they supported food-bank network Feeding America and nonprofit organisation First Responders Children’s Foundation. Throughout the show, viewers could also donate to, and provide aid to these organisations if they wished to.
