In order to make the donation process easy, Airtel has created a shortcut where the Airtel Payments Bank customers can easily contribute via the Airtel Thanks app. You can donate via eazypay as well.

The State Government also appealed to the Supreme Court to allow the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to be used for migrant’s welfare, which, however, the apex court refused to intervene in.

News reports suggest that so far over 70 people have lost their lives in West Bengal. Moreover, normal life across Kolkata and other areas of the state and also of Odisha has come to a halt. As many as 5,000 trees and hundreds of lampposts and traffic signals were reportedly uprooted by the cyclone. Moreover, a portion of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International airport was also flooded due to heavy rains caused by Amphan.
