You will soon be able to avail the comforts of an Emirates premium economy seat on international flights from India. The airlines has announced its plans to launch the service from two Indian cities.

The flights from Mumbai and Bengaluru will give this opportunity to those going to Dubai from October 30, 2023.

According to a statement released by the airlines earlier this week, “Emirates will operate its newly retrofitted flagship A380 aircraft to these two popular Indian points, featuring the new premium economy seats, as well as refreshed interiors that provide an elevated experience in all other cabin classes.”

Travellers onboard Emirates‘ Dubai-Mumbai flights can book their premium economy seats on EK500/501, while those on the Dubai-Bengaluru route can book their journeys on flights EK568/569 to avail the service. The luxury seats come with increased legroom, better dining experience and a lot more comfort than traditional economy seats.

Emirates already has this seating on nine destinations globally, including New York (JFK), San Francisco, Houston, London Heathrow, Sydney, Auckland, Christchurch, Melbourne and Singapore. Additionally, the airlines is set to add more destinations in future, including their debut on the Los Angeles route in July, bringing the total number of international routes offering premium economy services to 12 by the end of 2023.

Other than the luxurious premium economy seating, people onboard the aircraft can enjoy new refurbishments and better aesthetics to make their journey more pleasant. The retrofitted A380 aircraft includes a blend of beautiful designs and new colour palettes, which the customers can notice throughout its carpeting, wall panels as well as wooden finishings, to name a few.
