This Harry Potter cruise is being organised by Barge Lady Cruises company and the magical voyage will commence from Hotel Stratford in London. The cruise will not only be Harry Potter themed in terms of aesthetics and decor, but it will also serve all the gourmet meals and drinks as described in the book. So without further ado, let’s get you through the itinerary.
Day 1 – London
Hotel Stratford in London serves as the meeting point for this cruise, where you will receive a warm welcome with high tea. From here, you will head to the next stop, which is the Hampton Court Palace on River Thames. The monument is known for its architecture and beauty and has been mentioned in the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
Day 2 – Windsor
You will visit the lake called Virginia Water in Windsor, which is the same place where Harry first met Buckbeak in the Prisoner of Azkaban. The rumors say that this 17th-century lake was created especially for Elizabeth I. Since you’re in Windsor, visiting the Windsor Castle is also recommended as it makes an integral part of the British architecture.
Day 3 – Dorney Court
The guests will be taken to Picket Post Close from Dorney Court. Picket Post Close facilitated as the real-life shoot location for 4 Privet Drive and Dursley’s house that was seen in every movie of the ‘Harry Potter’ series.
Day 4 – Oxford
Did you ever happen to wonder what served as the inspiration for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? Well, it is the same place that you will see in Oxford during your Harry Potter cruise trip. It is the Great Hall of Christ Church College!
Day 5 – Warner Bros. Studio Tour London
Of course, the Harry Potter cruise will remain incomplete without a tour to the Warner Bros. Studio in London. The final leg of this cruise will take you exactly there, and apart from attending a Harry Potter movie marathon, you can also take the special Harry Potter tour.
Day 6 – Cruise Back To London
Like all things come to an end, this Harry Potter cruise will also hit the dock. The sixth and final day of the cruise will take you back to London.
