Canada has joined the list of countries to have operational travel bubbles with India, after UK, US, and UAE kickstarted the same earlier, as reported last week by the media. This means that any Indian holding a valid visa of any kind can easily travel to these countries. India has established a similar arrangement with a total of seven countries so far, including Germany, France and Maldives as well.
As a part of this arrangement, Air Canada has started flights between Toronto and New Delhi three times a week. However, though travel has been allowed, it still comes with mandatory COVID-19 tests and quarantine measures to be followed as per the guidelines of the destination.
