1. What’s this all about?
Ever since the lockdown has confined us to our homes, we have been resorting to social media, OTT platforms, books, and other forms of entertainment to keep us entertained. For those who find their dream escape in K-Pop, we have some good news for you. The K-Pop boy band BTS has come up with their special web series. It’s called Learn Korean, and the idea is to help people understand the lyrics of their songs even better. While the name suggests so, do not expect to be fluent in Korean by the end of it. Though, you can definitely get closer to the BTS army and understand their songs better after watching the series.

2. Where to watch?
You can stream all the episodes of Learn Korean on Weverse app, where all the episodes are available for free. While there are three episodes as of now, there will be a total 30 episodes in the series. Each episode will be three-minutes long and will help you learn Korean.

3. More about the lessons
Professor Heo Yong of the Department of Korean Education at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and researchers at the Korean Language Content Institute have collectively developed the lesson plan. While it seems like a great idea to connect with the fans and help them understand the lyrics better, it is difficult to follow if you have absolutely zero understanding or knowledge of the Korean language. Do check out the app though, and see if you can learn some Korean to flaunt post lockdown.
