After nearly three months of being shut, Singapore‘s iconic Marina Bay Sands has geared up to welcome guests once again, states the official website. This includes the ArtScience Museum, Sands SkyPark Observation Deck, the Casino and Sands SkyPark Observation Deck, all of which reopened on July 1. Moreover, the release also states that the Marina Bay Sands-operated restaurants such as Black Tap, Bread Street Kitchen, CUT, MOTT 32, KOMA, db Bistro & Oyster Bar, and Yardbird have also started welcoming guests again.

However, these spaces are currently not open to all. As per the official website, only Sands Rewards members can visit these areas. The ArtScience Museum and Sands SkyPark Observation Deck require a pre-purchased ticket, while prior reservations are mandatory for restaurants.

To ensure social distancing, The ArtScience Museum website states that technology is going to help manage capacity in the galleries. However, all guided tours will remain suspended for now, states Time Out Singapore.

Notably, more than 200 stores at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, including tenant F&B outlets, had eased back into operations on June 19 itself as per the release. For now, all the other venues and attractions at the Integrated Resort (IR) such as the Hotel, Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marquee and Sands Theatre will remain shut.

When the hotel reopens though, one can expect a range of safety and hygiene procedures. Hotel rooms will be routinely sanitised prior to check-in, ensuring guests can enjoy a clean and safe space. Major disinfectant works will also be carried out across all avenues of the property. The infinity pool here, an iconic feature of the hotel, will include increased cleaning, circulation cycles, and water treatment systems.
