Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, And The Moon Are Lining Up In April. Here's How To Spot Them

We have been saying, again and again, this lockdown is a blessing for our environment. Clean air and pollution-free environs, what else can we ask for? But nature continues to bless us through its wonders. After the super moon on April 7 and 8, you can now witness Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, and the Moon all aligned on April 14, 15, and 16. We know that Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars are morning planets, which means that the best time to spot these planets in the sky is early morning. You would feel elated to know that these three planets have been gradually stretching out and would come in a straight line by mid-April (read April 14, 15, and 16).

So, if you kept a close eye on the moon during these three nights, chances are very high that you will spot three other dots aligned with the moon, and these three dots would be your Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars. Now that is what you call nature showing-off its best tricks to remind you of how wonderful it is. That’s something we humans, sadly, seem to have forgotten.

We would recommend you try your best to spot the stunning phenomenon. However, if you cannot spot it install some good stargazing apps on your phone that will help you find the exact location of the planets and the moon. Trust us, you do not want to miss this by any chance because something like this will happen only after two years, until mid-2022, as confirmed by NASA.

Now, given that there are four days before you can see this amazing event, we recommend you practice trying to spot Venus in the night sky. It shines brighter than any star in the night sky and it would be easy for you to spot the same. Apart from that, it is anyway a delight to look at the night sky these days as the stars are visible even in metropolitan cities, which are otherwise shrouded behind a thick layer of pollution, smoke, and smog.
