We Asked Celebrities For Their Alternative #StayIn Homes During COVID-19 Lockdown; This Is What They Said

Unfortunately, being isolated in our homes is the new ‘normal’. However, at T+L India & South Asia, we love dreaming of better times, no matter how rough the going gets. With this glimmer of hopes in our hearts and a ray of sunshine hovering over our heads, we couldn’t help but wonder what would it be like if we could choose our alternate #StayIn homes. While we may not have been able to narrow down on one place, we asked some of our favourite Bollywood celebrity friends to help us out. Here’s what they had to say. By Bayar Jain

“Given a chance, I’d love to #StayIn at Taj Bekal [Resort & Spa] because of the private beach that it has. I love that you can spend time with yourself there and connect with nature. They have great service and amazing food. When you’re staying there, it’s so peaceful!”

“If given a chance, I would love to #StayIn at this Airbnb house in Zermatt – a small ski village in Switzerland. I visited the place with my husband, and it’s beautiful. The house which the two of us were staying in was made of wood and glass, looked over the mountains, and was absolutely gorgeous. Even the weather was amazing, so I would love to be there right now.”

“If given a chance, I would like to revisit the Ananda resort [Ananda In The Himalayas] in Rishikesh. My last trip there was great fun, and I had an absolutely lovely time. It’s in the middle of the mountains, there are rivers around you, and it’s beautiful. It’s even got one of the best spas and wellness centres there could be. It’s also very peaceful, very serene, and very quiet. If that’s the kind of thing that you like, then the Ananda resort is where you need to be.”

“If there’s one place I would like to #StayIn right now, it would be this health resort and spa called Vivamayr in Altaussee, Austria. The only reason that I want to be there is because, they have a strict prohibition on junk food. I need someone to tell me not to eat because by staying at home, I have gained two-to-four kilograms. I need to be in a place where they say ‘No’ to food!”

“If I had the chance to go out somewhere, it would be in Malaysia, Langkawi islands. There’s this lovely resort called Berjaya [Langkawi Resort]. I went there in 2016, and it’s one of my favourite resorts. I love it because you have this beautiful blue ocean in front of your eyes, on the sides you have greenery. It’s like a tropical rainforest, and I adore it. Every time I go there, I feel like I’m being pampered.
