The campaign went live on April 20 with the dream of giving hopes of brighter days ahead to everyone under lockdown. WTTC launched the campaign with an emotive video on what travel is, and it has encouraged everyone to support the industry in these difficult times. The video delves deep into the spiritual dimensions of travel and its sensory experiences, which vary from person to person.

The ‘Together In Travel’ campaign’s microsite will also host user-generated content and stories to bring together all the different platforms under one umbrella.

The WTTC recently praised and thanked millions of people from around the world in the Travel and Tourism sector who have contributed and helped the relief measures to counter the Coronavirus pandemic. This effort ranges from luxury hotel chains offering free-of-cost rooms to first responders, and to restaurants donating meals to the underprivileged struggling to cope.

Even though we can’t be #TogetherInTravel right now, share your throwback pictures and videos with the hashtag to keep the spirit and heart of travelling alive to be a truly global community.
