We are still waiting for a movie that celebrates the romantic side of Italy like this one. If you think you’re a hopeless romantic, well, this movie is for you. If you don’t find yourself to be one, there are high chances that you will become one after watching this. Do we sound confusing? Well, you’ll have to watch the movie to understand what we mean.

The Two Popes is the story of Cardinal Bergoglio (Jonathan Pryce), the future Pope Francis and the ageing Pope Benedict XVI (Anthony Hopkins). Parts of the show was filmed at Casa Gandolfo—Pope Benedict’s summer residence and the rest of it was shot on recreated sets, which are so real, you would never realise, it’s not the real Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel.
