Filmed in places like Sonmarg and Zoji La, the movie showcases snow-capped mountains and the quiant life of Kashmir. The climax was shot in the scenic region of Sonmarg near the Thajiwas glacier, which sits at 10,000 ft above sea level.
3. Haider
We will not say much about why you should watch Haider. For starters, it is an adaptation of The Immortal Bard’s classic creation—Hamlet, and it is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, one of the best filmmakers and musicians we’ve ever seen in this country. Here comes another Alia Bhatt movie on the list. The movie takes you through Doodhpathri in Budgam district, Pahalgam, and Shivpora in Srinagar while keeping you hooked with its captivating storyline based on Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat.
