World Economic Forum In Davos: What Deepika, Priyanka, Bhuvan Bam, and Sadhguru Are Doing There!

World Economic Forum 2020 (WEF) is being conducted in Davos, Switzerland and our favourite stars Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Youtuber Bhuvan Bam, and spiritual guru Jaggi Vasudev are there to add their bits to the global event. Let’s know who’s doing what. By Kumar Shree

This year’s WEF is taking place from January 21 to 24 in the picturesque mountain town of Davos. The theme for this year is ‘Stakeholders for a cohesive and sustainable world’.

Deepika has already received her Crystal Award for raising awareness and fighting the stigma around mental health in India. Her Live Love Laugh Foundation works towards the same and also takes up community-based mental health projects.

Priyanka in her speech urged the world leaders for putting their wealth towards eradicating extreme poverty in the world. She also urged the leaders for working towards keeping climate change in check and finding a solution to inequality by 2030.

Jaggi Vasudev, also known as Sadhguru, will preach these world leaders on the art of mindfulness. He will also conduct morning meditation and yoga sessions at the forum.

One of the most unexpected yet fascinating attendees is India’s favourite Youtuber Bhuvan Bam. He will attend the panels and will make his audience aware about the ongoings at WEF. This is expected to bridge the gap between the likes of those attending these events and the commoners.

A whole lot of stalwarts in their respective industries will also be there at the WEF. Talking of the international names, German Chancellor Angela Markel, US President Donald Trump, climate activist Greta Thunberg, environmentalist and filmmaker David Attenborough, and Microsoft founder Bill Gates are gracing the event.

From India, Commerce minister Piyush Goyal, corporate giants like N Chandrasekaran of the Tata Group, Rahul and Sanjiv Bajaj, Gautam Adani, and Kumar Mangalam Birla will also attend the event. Apart from these Mukesh Ambani, who is on the board of trustees for WEF 2020 will also be there.
