Alia Bhatt in the video for Mandarin Oriental‘s ‘I’m a fan’ campaign says, “I’ve always loved to travel, what we used to look forward the most was home away from home, a comfortable experience that feels like home but just a newer or more different experience.” In the campaign video, she also mentions all the things she is a fan of, including Meryl Streep, playing the guitar, keeping a diary, and more.
About The Campaign
Launched in 2000, the award-winning campaign links Mandarin Oriental’s well-recognised symbol – the fan – with international celebrities, including 10 Oscar winners who regularly stay at the hotels.
The Group donates to every celebrity’s preferred foundation, and Bhatt has decided to support the Salaam Bombay Foundation, a humanitarian organisation for adolescents.
Bhatt reveals that her favourite hotel is Mandarin Oriental, New York “It’s in one of my favourite cities, at one of my favourite locations, has breathtaking views of the park and the skyline, amazing food, warm service and I have wonderful memories of my times there.”
