India starts flights to international cities again: As per the latest notification by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, India is set to resume flights to 49 international cities in countries under air bubble relations with India. Here are all the details we have so far. By Anushka Goel
In a new notification issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), India will operate flights to 49 international cities in countries where the nation shares air bubble relations with. The schedule for these flights, being operated by Air India—the flag carrier airline of the country—is valid till September 20, 2021. However, the notice states that this schedule is subject to change depending upon the COVID-19 situation in the world.

If a passenger wishes to book a flight, they can check the full flight list on the MoCA’s website. As of now, these flights can be booked via the official Air India website, Air India offices and travel agents, reports LiveMint. Notably, India had introduced flights to Bangladesh on September 3 as part of the air bubble arrangement. However, now there are flights to several other cities as well, spreading across 18 countries in total.
