Qatar New Hotels
The Banyan Tree Doha is one of the 100+ new hotels to open in Qatar.

As per an issued release by Qatar Tourism, the FIFA 2022 World Cup™ host country will add 105 new hotels and serviced apartments to its already extensive portfolio. “These upcoming properties are part of our strategy to diversify our offering and broaden our appeal to visitors. We are pleased to expand our global tourism offer in line with Qatar National Vision 2030 and provide travellers with more options to experience the very best of Qatar,” says His Excellency Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive and Chairman of Qatar Tourism.

The Banyan Tree Doha, designed by renowned interior designer Jacques Garcia, is one such hotel to have already opened. Pullman Doha West Bay, JW Marriott West Bay, and Steigenberger Hotel Doha will be some of the other big names to debut in the region soon.

The recently-opened circular Banyan Tree Doha houses five opulent dining rooms; 341 rooms, suites and residences; as well as The Banyan Tree Spa—complete with a Rainforest Hydrotherapy, vitality pool, herbal sauna, steam room, and a unique rain walk. On the other hand, the soon-to-open Pullman Doha West Bay will offer 375 revitalising rooms and suites and 93 stylish apartments, contemporary conference rooms, a ballroom, nine gastronomic outlets, gym, spa, and an outdoor pool.

At JW Marriott West Bay, Doha’s skyline will enthral. All of 53 storeys, this towering glory will have a terrace swimming pool on the 30th floor, 297 rooms, bouquet of restaurants, and many sports and fitness facilities. Travellers hoping for a stay near the airport will be able to book a stay at the futuristic Steigenberger Hotel Doha. Here 204 rooms and suites, a spa, gym, rooftop pool, and various dining options will pamper. Another 4,300-square-foot ballroom and six conference rooms will complete the offerings.
