With less than 24 hours to go for The Family Man season two to premiere on Amazon Prime, we round up some places in Tamil Nadu that are expected to unravel as Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) busts the bad guys! By Bayar Jain

In its first season, action thriller The Family Man (directed and produced by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK) took the nation by storm. Then, senior analyst in the fictional Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), Srikant Tiwari (played by Manoj Bajpayee), traversed the waters of Kochi, the streets of Mumbai and its iconic Kala Ghoda statue, and the terrains of Srinagar among others, hoping to investigate (and curb) a potential terrorist attack. The trailer of the upcoming The Family Man season two, however, celebrates the vistas of Tamil Nadu while the fight between Tiwari and his new enemy, Samantha Akkineni’s Rajji, ensues.

Keep an eye out for these beautiful places in Tamil Nadu that are expected to grace the backdrop amid the nail-biting action sequences, and thrilling twists and turns of The Family Man season two on June 4.

1. Chennai

For anyone who has seen the trailer, Chennai featuring on this list comes as no surprise. The two-minute-long snippet shows JK Talpade (Tiwari’s colleague, played by Sharib Hashmi) welcoming his colleague to the “hot” city, and introducing himself to a police inspector. Moreover, this upcoming season has picked Eelam Tamils as the antagonists, most of whom are based out of the capital city in the show.

2. Anamalai Tiger Reserve

While there is no surety that the show was shot here, lush green forest backdrops sneaking up in the trailer point in that direction. And what better space to capture thrilling sequences than the pristine 958 square kilometres big tropical reserve?

3. Kalakkad

Parts of the teaser show waterbodies against mountains—a visual signature to Kalakkad. No wonder, then, it’s one of our guesses, too! With picture-perfect landscapes, the fact that this tiny hamlet is often overlooked by tourists; and thus, an ideal space for shooting.

Tune into Amazon Prime on June 4 for more such virtual escapes with The Family Man season two!
