As per the new rules, relaxations in the country have also been eased for travellers. According to Schengen Visa Info, the only places one will need to wear a face mask are all mass and indoor events, offices, shops, sports buildings, service operations, cultural events, public transport, trains, suburban and long-distance buses, and vehicles such as taxis, which contain non-family household members.

Along with the lifting of restrictions, the Central European government, including Slovakia, also plans to allow travel and lift quarantine for those who have been in close contact with an infected person but are COVID-19-free themselves, reports Schengen Visa Info.

Till now, authorities in Slovakia had kept the travel entry rules and other restrictions in place to contain further spread of the virus, However, following the other European countries’ examples, the nation, too, has started to consider COVID-19 as an endemic disease, and thus, the relaxations have started to come into place. The aim here is that travel increases to Slovakia and tourists get to witness the scenic beauty of its vast landscape, stunning natural beauty and the variety of terrains it has, along with ample entertainment and some really delectable cuisine.
