The European Union (EU) has been slowly relaxing travel rules to allow visitors to enter the nations. While most countries are still easing travel for those within the EU, many are now accepting all international passengers, sans any restrictions, writes Schengen Visa Info.

Ever since the third wave of the pandemic receded, Europan countries as well as the rest of the world, have been working towards making travel easier and removing all restrictions. While many nations, though open, still require all visitors to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test certificate or more, several countries have dropped these restrictions. And within the EU/European Economic Area (EEA), too, many nations have dropped restrictions not only for countries within the Union but non-EU nations as well, reports Forbes. These countries are:
According to Schengen Visa Info, Travellers from non-EU countries can enter these nations regardless of their vaccination status. This means that travellers will not be required to show a COVID-19 pass (vaccination, recovery or negative test certificate). As long as they have the right documents, including a valid visa and passport, they can enter these countries and travel as much as they want. According to Schengen Visa Info, apart from these countries, Greece is also set to remove restrictions for non-EU travellers, starting May 2, 2o22.
The world has grappled with the effects of the pandemic for a long time now. Borders have remained shut for the most part since 2020, and slowly, travel across the globe is easing. With vaccines and booster shots being administered, there’s a general feeling of ease. All this is helping ease travel and remove the fear of stepping out from people, in order to boost tourism and the economy at large across the world.
