The chopper service is set to begin on October 10 and will fly five days a week. Priced at INR 3,250 (excluding taxes), the chopper will be able to fly five to six passengers in one go between the Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd Airport and the Bangalore airport, reports state.

This will cut down the travel time from 120 minutes to just 15 minutes, allowing you to board your flight well in time and head to your preferred destinations. According to NDTV, the company stated that soon, more routes, namely Whitefield and Electronic City, will also be added to the service. The report adds that as the service begins, the chopper service will operate twice a day, with the first ride to begin at 9:00 am. The second chopper will be scheduled for 4:15 pm.

Bangalore has been known for its traffic jams that cover the entire city. Several memes and distraught travellers can attest to the fact that at times, walking seems to be a better solution to reach a destination rather than boarding a cab or taking out your car. It is expected that the helicopter service will be able to ease the traffic woes somewhat and make the journey easier.
