The yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh, is hosting the 2021 edition of the International Yoga Festival from March 01 to 07. Start prepping for a week-long spiritual getaway. By Kumar Shree
The ongoing International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh witnessed nearly 400 participants on day one itself. The morning session of day one had Yoga Guru Kapil Sanghvi conducting an enlightening session on breath controlling processes known as pranayam. Another session was on Iyenger Yoga under the guidance of Usha Mata.

Agriculture Minister Subodh Uniyal, Head of Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad (ABAP) Narendra Giri, and Chairman of Patanjali Yogpeeth Balkrishna inaugurated the festival in Rishikesh on Monday.
Uttarakhand Tourism also tweeted about the same, “Uttarakhand Tourism is organising the International Yog Festival in Rishikesh from March 1-7, 2021. Come to the Yoga Capital of the World and learn from enlightened Spiritual Leaders, Master Yoga Teachers, and Wellness Specialists from around the world. #uttarakhandtourism.”
Many notable gurus and guides will grace the International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh with their presence. Swani Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj, Sister B K Shivani, Swami Parmatmananda, Gaur Gopal Das, Acharya Balkrishna, Swami Atma Swaroopanand, Grand Master Akshar, and the likes are on the list. The festival will also organise musical performances by Susmit Sen, Ritesh & Rajnish Mishra, Indira Naik, and Tribhuvan Maharaj. Masterchef Pankaj Bhadouria will also conduct a session on healthy eating.
