A baby elephant is already making people crazy on the internet, in spite of being just 20 minutes old. A relatively old video has resurfaced online and gone viral after being shared by IFS officer Susanta Nanda on the social media platform, Twitter.

The baby elephant while trying to take its first steps, under the protective supervision of its mother, moves clumsily and almost makes a fall in few instances, making it look like the baby jumbo is dancing.

“A 20-minutes-old calf. Finding its feet and dancing into his new world,” he tweeted. “A feet that will take him miles and miles in the coming days, he added. The video stirs all the warm and fuzzy feeling one would feel while looking at a cute baby or animal.”

Within a day, the video has garnered over 83,000 views and has received an outpour of love by many netizens. With comments like “beauty of mother nature,” “adorable,” and “wonderful and one of the simple joys of nature,” — the video was clearly a hit.

The elephant video surfaced online at a time when India is grappling with the Coronavirus pandemic with a steady spike in cases. This baby elephant’s video brought about a smile to many, who are otherwise under lockdown and worrying about the threat of the virus.
