Australia-based price comparison website Comparethemarket.com.au has conducted a study on the most desired countries to relocate to. For this, they analysed Google search data for each country around the world for search terms related to relocating. The website analysed every country on their annual search volume for terms such as ‘relocating to [country]’ and ‘moving to [country]’ to reveal the world’s most desirable countries to relocate to.
The study has placed India at the 8th spot of the most desired countries to relocate to. India was preferred as a relocation destination by residents of seven countries. These include Bangladesh, Bhutan, Finland, Ivory Coast, Libya, Niger, and United Arab Emirates. With an average age of 29, India is one of the youngest countries in the world and also one of the fastest-growing economies. Thanks to a robust start-up ecosystem and a giant IT sector, there’s no dearth of good employment opportunities in India. India’s talented and ambitious workforce will propel further economic growth.

Canada bagged the first spot on the list of the most desired countries to relocate to. Residents of as many as 50 other countries feel that Canada is where they would like to relocate. The North American country has been welcoming towards ex-pats, which has given it its multicultural and diverse social fabric. Spain has achieved the third rank on the list. What makes this European nation a popular choice to relocate to is its excellent healthcare and quality of life. The country also enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate. 19 countries chose Spain as their favourite, including other European nations. Spain also offers a good work-life balance, with Spaniards getting a minimum paid holiday allowance of 30 days a year.
Other countries on the list that made it to the top ten include China, France, Turkiye, South Africa, Australia, and Greece.
