Talking about the test landing, state Chief Minister Pema Khandu wrote online, “It is a milestone moment for us as we’re making every possible effort to ensure ease of travel in our state. Gratitude to all for contributing their bit to improve our people’s ease of life,” reports Arunachal Times.
The news comes with the promise of better connectivity and security in the state. Arunachal is among the most popular travel destinations in the Northeast at the moment, and the opening of an airport here will only increase connectivity and traveller influx.
