An actor’s life is full of travels. From shooting in exotic locations to vacationing in dreamy lands, they’re almost always on the go. Joining this list of travel-loving souls is actor Sonakshi Sinha who was recently spotted scurrying through the streets of Doha, the mesmerising capital of Qatar.
Dressed In Greens
Dressed in a floral green co-ord set, the costume designer-turned-actor can be seen relaxing at a café at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha. Sitting still on a private island in West Bay Lagoon, the five-star hotel fuses together the traditional and modern with ease. From spacious rooms and signature suites opening to expansive sea views to a high-rise Club Lounge with exclusive privileges, the hotel is designed to give guests a feeling of abundant luxuries. The many dining spaces, immersive pools, and holistic spa further elevates this feeling of bliss.
Matched To Perfection
Up next, the newly-turned entrepreneur (Sonakshi Sinha has launched SOEZI™️, a fashion brand that specialises in press-on nails) was spotted with her stylist, Sanam Ratansi. The two can be seen sporting a stylish-chic look in black and white monochromatic outfits in the by-lanes of Katara Cultural Village.
Named after the country’s historical name, the self-styled Katara Cultural Village offers a stunning display of traditional Qatari architecture and fuses it with an array of cultural venues, including museums, galleries and public art. Notably, the cultural village served as the send-off ground for the upcoming FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour. The coveted football World Cup is slated to kick off at Al Bayt Stadium in Qatar on November 21, 2022.
One With The Fans
Later in the night, Sonakshi Sinha found herself surrounded by fans at Chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa’s Nobu Doha, a Japanese restaurant that recently opened its doors to the public. Located at Four Seasons Hotel Doha at The Corniche, above the Arabian Gulf, Nobu Doha is credited as “the world’s largest Nobu restaurant” on its official website.
When in Doha, savouring world cuisines comes easy—and seems like Sonakshi Sinha got the memo! Post the posing, the award-winning actor was spotted gorging on a plate of scrumptious sushi and sashimi—some of the signature dishes at the restaurant. Japanese food aside, the capital city is also famous for offering varied dining scenes that reflect Qatar’s rich diversity, featuring an eclectic range of influences. Be it masala dosas or steak, weekend brunches or organic homemade produce at Torba Market…Doha has it all!
A little birdie reveals that Sonakshi Sinha also spent time shopping for souvenirs at Souq Waqif. Souq Waqif is a marketplace (or souq) in Doha, that is famous for selling traditional garments, spices, handicrafts, and souvenirs. Although the main building of the marketplace dates back to the 20th century, the structures were renovated in 2006—giving the space a heady old-world-meets-modern-day vibe.
