1. Goreme Open Air Museum, Turkey
First an important Byzantine monastic settlement that housed some 20 monks, then a pilgrimage site, Goreme Open Air Museum is one of Turkey’s UNESCO world heritage sites. It’s well preserved and contains both simple, red-ochre daubs and professionally painted frescoes with biblical scenes.
2. Storm King Art Center, New York State
Storm King Art Centre in Hudson Valley, New York is one of the world’s best sculpture parks in the world. This open-air museum contains the largest collection of contemporary outdoor sculptures in the United States. To experience this place at its best, stroll through its fields amidst the magnificent sculptures. “Mozart’s Birthday,” by sculptor Mark di Suvero is unmissable.
One of the world’s most visited museums of the world, the Louvre houses ‘Mona Lisa’ by Leonardo da Vinci and many other Renaissance gems for 200 years now. The museum’s façade is a feast itself — one that Instagram surely loves!
4. Claude Monet’s garden – Giverny, France
Match Monet’s feet and experience the en plein air in Claude Monet’s Garden in Giverny. On a train to Paris in the 1800s, Claude Monet peered out his window at the passing village of Giverny–he immediately fell in love. Today, it invites guest to tour the gardens where Monet produced some of his most iconic works.

Vatican Museum is home to the famous Sistine Chapel ceiling.
