Manali, Himachal Pradesh : Often referred to as the Valley of Gods, Manali is in a lovely green valley with a serene atmosphere, warm springs and scenic mountains. Expect the adventure sports of river rafting, snow trekking, camping, skiing, paragliding, rock climbing and river crossing in Manali.

Gulmarg, Jammu & Kashmir: The quaint town of Gulmarg in the Himalayas has wild flower meadows, gorgeous lakes and lush forests, which are covered with snow in the winter. Gulmarg has some of finest slopes to ski and snowboard and Asia’s largest cable car known as Gulmarg Gondola. You could also go trekking, ice skating, golfing, fishing, and go for nature walks or tea plucking in Gulmarg
Darjeeling, West Bengal: Darjeeling, known as the ‘Queen of the Hills’ is not only one of the biggest tea producers of India, but also has some of the best natural scenery. Watch snow leopards, red pandas and Tibetan wolves at the zoo. Alternately, go mountain cycling, river rafting, rock climbing, and paragliding or trekking.

Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh: Presently, the trans-Himalayan Spiti is covered with cottony snow stretching as far as your eyes can see. The road leading up to Spiti still remains one of India’s most scenically magnificent roads. Its ski slopes, which are intended for professionals and beginners, are rated as some of the best in the world. Auli is also well known for its numerous winter sport competitions.
