During the inauguration of the train, PM Modi said, “I am happy that Vande Bharat train has today become synonymous with development, modernity, self-reliance and stability. Today’s journey of Vande Bharat will lead us to the journey of developed India tomorrow,” writes The Hindu. The train will also improve connectivity between Delhi and some popular tourist spots in Rajasthan, such as the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the forts and palaces of Jaipur, Alwar Fort, and Sariska National Park.
These Vande Bharat Express trains are made in India and are self-propelled. The trains are complete with state-of-the-art passenger amenities and are believed to be more comfortable and convenient than the other trains.
