One such place is the magnificent city of Jaipur, which is full of heritage and clickable sites, from the Hawa Mahal to its beautiful pink-painted gates (or pols). The City Palace in Jaipur is the royal family’s residence. Given its history, you will find some pretty picturesque corners to sit and get clicked at, but our favourite spots here are the Chhavi Niwas and the section which has various gates, including the Peacock Gate and the Lotus Gate. These make for the most Instagrammable spots here and will surely brighten up your social media feed!

Sheesh Mahal, Amer Fort

Sheesh Mahal is a beautiful spot at Amer Fort, which has beautiful patterns all over it, carefully designed using traditional motifs, lotus designs and thousands of small mirrors. It is said that the light from a single candle was enough to light up the whole Sheesh Mahal, which can be witnessed when you light your flashlight and see its reflection bounce back on all the mirrors on the walls and the ceilings. The Mahal, known as the place where the song Jab Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya from Mughal-E-Azam was shot, is one of the most Instagrammable spots in Jaipur, especially if you’re planning a pre-wedding photoshoot with your partner!

Front domes in Amber Fort

Yet another spot in the scenic Amer Fort is the front domes, which served as the Diwan-i-Aam for the king. The place has open spaces, pillars and the most breathtaking view of the city below, which will surely make for some beautiful picture opportunities. A short walk away lies the entrance to the Sheesh Mahal, which in itself is a pretty spot to get clicked at, with its intricate paintings and the burst of colour.

In front of the Hawa Mahal

The pink-hued outer walls of the Hawa Mahal, with its beautiful windows and intricately painted structures, makes for one of the most popular and picturesque spots in Jaipur. You can stand in front of the Mahal to get the perfect Instagrammable capture and round up your trip to Jaipur, or head to one of the rooftop cafes across the road, which offer one of the best views of the Mahal, and the perfect backdrop to flaunt your outfits!

Panna Meena Ka Kund is a stepwell near Amer Fort, which was used in the earlier days to store and use water and for performing religious ceremonies. The place has steps leading down its walls, and the symmetrical structure makes for some stunning captures for Instagram.
