However, as per reports, all the passengers will have to undergo thermal screening at the airports and will be checked for COVID-19 related symptoms as well. They will also be required to download the Aarogya Setu App.
Meanwhile, even airlines have also updated their COVID-19 guidelines with respect to the new guidelines issued by the state government.
“With immediate effect, there will be no home quarantine and indelible ink stamping for domestic passengers arriving into Maharashtra. No quarantine and hand stamping for asymptomatic passengers,” The Hindu BusinessLine mentioned the IndiGo airlines as stating in its updated guidelines.

Restrictions for international travellers will continue to remain the same as earlier. However, under a new provision, now even they can skip the week-long institutional quarantine by producing a valid test report confirming that they are COVID-19 negative. Those without the report, can get tested at Mumbai and Pune airports as well.
“Those travelling from abroad no longer have to stay in institutional quarantine for a week if they carry a report declaring them to be COVID-19 negative, or they test negative after landing,” a civic officer had earlier told The Indian Express.
