Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and her husband, Anand, recently got back from a packed LA trip, and their itinerary is all sorts of goals. If you plan on going there anytime soon, this is a pretty solid plan to follow. By Gayatri Moodliar.
1. LACMA:
The largest museum on the west coast, the LACMA boasts over 135,000 objects. Other than just serving as a holding ground, the museum is also a hub of shared intellect and goes the extra mile in promoting the quest for knowledge. It supports various programmes, and even has a school outreach programme to nurture young talent.
2. Salazar:
This should be your go-to restaurant in LA, mostly because it allows dogs. With a focus on grilled meats, their tacos and margaritas are also setting very, very high standards.
3. Warner Bros Studio:

It’s one thing to watch all your favourite movies, but what if you got the opportunity to live them? Well, that’s exactly what a Warner Bros Studio Tour entails. It also gives you the chance to look at the original script and see the props that were used.
4. The Last Bookstore:

Art, records, and, of course, books come together in this must-visit bookstore. In an age where most of these things are available digitally, it’s a quaint and quirky respite.
5. Staples Centre:
If you’re a basketball fan, this will already be on your list. If you aren’t, it should be anyway, because the space is something to see. Try and catch a game if you can, though a concert by one of the established stars that perform there regularly wouldn’t be too bad either.
However, we can’t promise that meeting Mindy Kaling is included.
6. The Hollywood Roosevelt:
Park yourself at one of the top hotels in Hollywood, The Hollywood Roosevelt, which was established in 1927. If you ate too many tacos during the day, burn them off at the in-house ‘gaming parlour,’ which comes with bowling alleys, too.
