Czech train network RegioJet has launched two new routes that connect Vienna and Prague to Budapest. While the journey from Vienna to Budapest takes around two hours and 45 minutes, a train ride between Prague and Budapest would take around seven hours. The former costs INR 800 (€9.20) and the latter’s tickets start at INR 1,400 (€16).
The train network also had a route between Prague and Vienna, which had been suspended since March this year due to the pandemic but has now reopened to passengers. Tickets for the four-hour journey start at INR 1,200 (€14).
