Paris has long lured travellers. And justifiably so. Home to the Louvre, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Notre-Dame, Châtelet, and Île de la Cité–the city of romance will now have another gem housed in its kitty—Cheval Blanc Paris.
Opening tomorrow, Cheval Blanc Paris will mark the group’s foray on Parisian soil—the collection’s birthplace—and bring the brand to a full circle. Embodying the historic grandeur and elegance of the European city, this emblematic Art Deco building will sit cosily beside the calm River Seine.

Here, art will be the first resident. Set in a historic edifice, the elegant space will carry traditions of the Art Deco masterpiece designed by Henri Sauvage in 1928. Designed and conceived by Peter Marino as a Paris Residence, each inch of the luxurious accommodation will make way for custom-made furniture. Picture over 10 different types of handpicked marble, graphic embossing amid subtle mineral hues, and mood light interspersed in every corner. The windows here, too, will celebrate elegance. Embellished with contemporary dimensions, courtesy of architect Édouard François, the bay windows will open onto the Seine—a surreal artwork in its own right. Indoors, Sonia Delaunay and Claude Lalanne paintings will adorn the walls, sculptures by Philippe Anthonio will dot the areas, and canvases by Vik Muniz will find space alongside pieces by Laurence Montano.

A destination in itself, the new Cheval Blanc Paris will have 72 rooms and suites on offer, multifaceted gastronomic cuisines at the contemporary yet intimate restaurants, a spacious terrace that will unravel panoramic views, a vast swimming pool with wave mosaics, and a private apartment-like spa that will have exclusive treatments for an added dose of pampering. The Carrousel, designed for younger guests, will be a safe harbour. Everywhere, a relaxing mood will sweep the space.
The gastronomic adventures here will be just as indulgent. Located at a stone’s throw away from the lobby, Cheval Blanc Paris will have a bouquet of restaurants waiting to delight. While here, delicious pastries and exciting cocktails will cater to palates of all kinds. The first-floor restaurant—helmed by Arnaud Donckele—will also promise mouthwatering delicacies, while the seventh floor contemporary brasserie will revive the joy of devouring succulent meats at any time of the day. In private, the Table de Partage will help discover superlative cuisines in the company of loved ones.
