Hôtel Madame Rêve may be one of Paris’s newer hotels, but it hasn’t wasted time in making a name for itself. Guests gush over the luxury hotel’s bright, modern rooms with Eiffel Tower views, while Parisians can’t get enough of the restaurant, which mixes French and Japanese cuisines to perfection. In fact, Hôtel Madame Rêve has made such a splash that it was selected by Travel + Leisure readers as the best hotel in Paris in the 2022 World’s Best Awards. And topping the list is quite a feat, especially when you consider that the hotel opened less than a year ago.

A Location Near the City’s Best Shopping
Madame Rêve’s location only makes the hotel that much more appealing. The property is situated in a 19th-century post office in the true heart of Paris. Around the corner is Les Halles, a modern shopping centre that’s adjacent to a park and a Gothic church.
The Louvre is a direct, 10-minute walk from the hotel, as are the Centre Pompidou museum and the new La Samaritaine, a luxury art deco department store with a stunning glass-ceilinged restaurant.
Spacious Rooms, Some Overlooking the Eiffel Tower
The truth is that there is no bad room at Madame Rêve. The most sought after may be those with an Eiffel Tower view — and we have no complaints with that — but you won’t be disappointed with a room overlooking the hanging sky garden or the city’s zinc-blue rooftops. And those who find themselves in a room with views over the city will find themselves nestled under the hotel’s glass roof, bathed in natural light and surrounded by views of the urban landscape. It’s hard to go wrong.
Most of Madame Rêve’s 82 rooms and suites have balconies, providing a true Parisian feel — and a perfect place to enjoy your morning croissant and café. Throughout the hotel, rooms are graced with a golden-brown color palette and a modern take on wood panelling that creates a cosy cocoon-like feel. The bathrooms, which have tubs and waterfall showers, are adorned with small, bronzed mosaic tiling.
Perhaps most notably, every room in Madame Rêve is a study of light. Floor-to-ceiling windows let the morning sun in and provide unobstructed views of the rooftop garden, while upper-level rooms have an arc of windows that provide 180-degree views. And while all of Madame Rêve’s rooms are spacious for Paris standards, the suites are noticeably large — some with multiple rooms, large sitting areas, and expansive terraces.
Phenomenal Dining, With Next-level Views
Guests at Madame Rêve won’t be lacking in the dining department. Off the lobby, the opulent Madame Rêve Café serves Mediterranean cuisine under chandeliers that dangle from impossibly high ceilings. On the adjacent terrace, guests can dine alfresco on the protected — and picturesque — Cour Gutenberg.
Those looking for a dining experience that has made waves in the culinary capital don’t have to travel far. Madame Rêve’s restaurant La Plume has made a name for itself — both locally and internationally — for its sweeping views over the rooftops of Paris. In addition to an interior dining room lined with panoramic windows, guests can dine on the greenery-laden terrace. The menu, which is inspired by contemporary Japanese cuisine, includes plates like braised short ribs, a lobster hot pot, and Wagyu beef tartare.
A Tranquil Spa With a Sauna and Gym
The spa at Madame Rêve is simple and tranquil. There’s a gym with large windows and private yet extravagant rooms for spa treatments — think: sea salt scrubs and massages with delicately perfumed oils. Perhaps most notably, the hotel has its own sauna, which has a well-placed window overlooking the City of Light.
