Overlooking the Arabian Sea, Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach offers creature comforts with a side of nature—in sync with the new norms of safety. By Rashima Nagpal
Nestled in a plush corner of Mumbai, along Juhu Beach, this five-star hotel has been the preferred choice for business and leisure travellers alike. Accor’s Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach offers seaside luxury, while being au courant with the new normal.
Many of its 203 rooms and suites enjoy sunset views over the sea. The recently refurbished rooms are warm, cosy, and state-of-the-art, and imbibe the city’s spirit with familiar motifs. The idea is to evoke a sense of belonging. The hotel also fits the bill for a beach staycation with multiple dining options. Add to that Accor’s ALLSAFE label, developed and vetted by global inspection leader Bureau Veritas, which promises utmost hygiene and safety for all guests and staff.
The hotel also makes for a great venue for a beachside wedding. Its spacious outdoor areas, facing the sea, are suitable for celebrations that comply with social distancing guidelines. To further ensure safety, the hotel has rearranged the layout of its indoor venues as well. For instance, the tables are kept at least two metres apart with fewer people seated together, and guests can opt for staffed food counters or plated dinners. In fact, the Novotel brand has introduced Vivaah at Novotel, an initiative aimed at enhancing the contemporary virtual wedding experience.
The brand’s ongoing Missed Celebrations offer gives patrons the opportunity to celebrate intimate gatherings such as anniversaries, birthdays, or family dinners, and earn rewards. One can make the most of this campaign until December 31, 2020, with the voucher being valid through March next year.
