1. Historiques American 1921 36.5mm

VACHERON CONSTANTIN

outdoor watches

Vacheron watches of the early 1920s, including the Historiques American 1921, were influenced by the Art Deco movement. The trilogy of American 1921 launched last year also exhibit this style. This particular variant in 18K white gold, in a smaller unisex cushion-shaped case size of 36.5mm, stands out. With its gleaming surfaces and short straight lugs, the contrast with the grained silver tone is beautifully subtle. The Breguet-style Arabic numerals and railroad minutes track in black are in stark contrast with the 18K gold hands. It comes with dark brown and burgundy calfskin leather strap. Price on request

2. Speedmaster ‘57

OMEGA

outdoor watches

Omega has announced a complete refresh of the two-register Speedmaster ’57 line, a sub-collection of the Speedmaster family that was first introduced in 2013. A highlight is the manual-wind chronograph movement certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS: the Omega calibre 9906. It has a height of just 6.4mm, and the thinness of the movement makes this watch the smallest Master Chronometer-certified Speedmaster so far, measuring 40.5mm in diameter and under 13mm in height. The dial retains the classic ‘Broad Arrow’ handset, as well as sunken hour markers (on the black dial). The green, burgundy, and blue dial variants feature applied hour markers. Price on request
