What you need

2-3 marigold flowers

1 tablespoon honey

2 teaspoons sandalwood powder

2 tablespoons milk

1 tablespoon gram flour

½ teaspoon olive oil

A few drops of rosewater

Method

Throw marigold petals in a bowl and crush them well with the back of a spoon. Add a few drops of rosewater to smoothen the paste. Squeeze this pulp through a fine muslin cloth to extract the liquid, and keep it aside. In a separate bowl, mix the other ingredients to form an even paste. Add the marigold extract, mix well, and adjust the mask’s consistency so that it can be spread easily. Refrigerate for an hour. Apply evenly on your face and neck. Rinse with cold water after 30 minutes.

Benefits

This face mask reduces acne formations and dryness. Also, marigolds are known to enhance the skin’s texture.

Next, apply a thick layer of the mask and let it dry. After 15-20 minutes, gently scrub your face and neck in a circular motion with wet fingers. Wash off and pat dry.
