Whilst most of us are self-isolating and staying indoors, it can get overwhelming or lonely over long periods of time. But thanks to the Australian Reptile Park you can now virtually connect with and even live stream with your favourite animal friends.

Although the award-winning wildlife sanctuary in New South Wales closed its doors last month, the zoo-keepers are still hard at work feeding and looking after all the animals. Now you get to be in on the action as well, as zoo-keepers will be daily live-streaming and showcasing their favourite animals.

These virtual and live streaming sessions will include feeding Elvis, the MASSIVE Saltwater Crocodile, playtime and cuddles with dingoes, feeding cuddly koalas and virtual tours of different areas within the Park.

In addition to all this, the sanctuary will also be making educational videos to help out parents who are currently homeschooling their kids during these times. Titled Animal Tales With Tim Faulkner, the video series will feature the much-celebrated Tim Faulkner who was previously named ‘Australian Geographic’s Conservationist of the Year’, has hosted his own television series Wild Life of Tim Faulkner and was one of the presenters on Bondi Vet.

“With so many people at home due to the current health situation happening around the world, we wanted to ensure we created a way that they could keep in touch with nature,” said Faulkner.
