Emanating peace and tranquility, the stunning Radhanagar Beach, also known as Beach No. 7, on Swaraj Dweep (previously known as Havelock Island), is one of the most popular destinations on the Andaman Islands. Fringed with plush greenery, its gentle waters cater to adventure seekers and nature lovers alike, offering various water activities, as well as the chance to relax and take in the beauty. It is also a popular destination for honeymooners to visit. One of the few places in Andaman & Nicobar Islands where the government encourages tourism, especially eco-tourism, Swaraj Dweep is famous for its lovely mangroves, coral reefs and beaches. Radhanagar Beach is the undisputed champion, among other beaches like Kalapathar Beach, Elephant Beach and Vijaynagar Beach. The water here is calm, allowing for visitors to indulge in activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming and game fishing for lovers of water sports, although swimming after sunset is not allowed. One might even come across the occasional elephant to ride on.

The beach also boasts of the first international luxury resort operating in the Andamans. The Taj Exotica Resort and Spa is situated a mere 0.4 km from the beach. Other options for accommodation include the very popular Barefoot At Havelock and Symphony Palms Beach Resort. Wild Orchid, Island Vinnies Tropical Beach Cabana and Munjoh Ocean Resort are ideal for those looking for mid-budget hotels.

Swaraj Dweep also has a number of restaurants offering sumptuous food to choose from, such as the Emerald Gecko, a cottage resort serving seafood and English breakfasts, and the Full Moon Café, close to Beach No. 5, which regales visitors with pleasant music and fabulous seafood. Other popular restaurants include the Anju Coco Resto, Fat Martin and Venom Bar. There are also beach shacks on Radhanagar beach itself, for those looking for a quick fix.

Visitors going to the beach can take ferries or ships from Port Blair to Swaraj Dweep. Taking about 90 minutes to cover the distance, there are both government-run and privately-owned ferries and ships to choose from. The most commonly used private ferry is the MV Makruzz. Another privately owned ferry is the Coastal Cruise, which goes via Neil Island and operates in any weather. Visitors can also choose seaplanes as a mode of transport, taking around 20 minutes from Port Blair to Swaraj Dweep. Radhanagar Beach is around seven kilometres from the ferry pier, reachable by buses and auto-rickshaws.
