Kerala, God’s own country, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India for both national and international travellers. The state along with the rest of the country is currently under a lockdown to contain the spread of Coronavirus. We have curated some images for you to see how Kerala looks under lockdown. Accredit it to the calm backwaters, the supremacy in Ayurveda, verdant fields, lush-green forests, foggy hills, enchanting beaches, or the culture, cuisine, people, and indomitable hospitality—Kerala deserves every iota of attention and appreciation that it already attracts. The state is home to iconic hill stations like Munnar replete with rich spice and tea farms, and to the historically blessed cities like Kochi. We know how your heart wants to travel and see all of it but it is in our best interest to stay at home right now. After all, that’s what even the locals are doing there. These images will show you how Kerala looks under lockdown.

P.S. All these images were clicked by people who were bound by the sense of their duties to go out. We do not endorse or suggest going out during the lockdown just for the purpose of clicking photographs. Staying at home is the best you can do during this time, and we advise you to do exactly that. Stay inside, stay home, and stay safe, so that you can travel the world later.
