Seychelles has reopened its borders for all vaccinated travellers without any quarantine restrictions. Travellers are required to provide adequate proof of having been administered the COVID-19 vaccine, and should also have a negative RT-PCR report (no longer than 72 hours old). The Seychelles government expects international travellers to wait for 14 days after being inoculated before granting the visa, but the mandatory 10 day quarantine has been done away with.

The government of Iceland has approved vaccinated travellers to bypass COVID-19 testing and quarantine from May 1.

This Mediterranean nexus point of the Middle East and the West no longer requires you to quarantine upon arrival. Travellers from all countries carrying a vaccination certificate and a negative COVID-19 test report are welcome in the country. However, travellers will need to take a separate PCR test at the airport as an additional precautionary measure.

While Phuket hasn’t eased any restrictions as of now, the tourism board has made plans to reopen the resort island to all vaccinated travellers by October this year. The plan seeks to waive off the 14-day quarantine period.
