The commercial flight operation between the two cities will begin on November 19 and will operate as part of the bilateral ‘air bubble’ agreement between the two countries. The airlines will operate its Airbus A320neo on Thursdays and Sundays every week. “We are pleased to strengthen our presence in the Middle East by adding another global city to our steadily growing network, albeit for special flights under the ‘transport bubble,” said Leslie Thng, Chief Executive Officer, Vistara (as reported by india.com).

This is great news for travellers as Doha is an important economic hub in the region. The Doha international airport also plays an important role in connecting many international flights and draws several Indians for business and leisure.

Currently, India has entered into air bubble arrangements with 20 countries with the most recent additions being the Netherlands and Tanzania.
